IRONBOUND PÉT-NAT CIDERS

Using a traditional (pét-nat) bottle fermentation, we’ve created a collection of single-variety sparkling ciders that showcase some of America’s most beloved cider apples. Complex and well-structured, these old-world, rustic, naturally sparkling ciders are our tribute to the skilled cidermakers of 19th century Newark who built that city’s reputation as “the great champagne manufactory of America.”

WICKSON CRAB
7.4% ABV

Small and spicy, the Wickson was developed by renegade apple breeder Albert Etter who bucked the establishment by using wild genetics in his experimental orchard. With bright acidity, extraordinary sweetness, and deep complexity, this apple is one of the few that can stand on its own as a single-variety sparkling cider. A rustic traditional (pét-nat) bottle fermentation creates a well-structured, naturally sparkling cider with hints of fresh air, sea salt, and minerals.

GOLDEN RUSSET
7.1% ABV

The Golden Russet apple is considered a dessert apple rather than a traditional cider apple. This decadent apple gives the cider a unique, mouth-coating texture with notes of sweet mandarin, orange, and apricot. Loud and lively compared to the wine-like single-varietal, Wickson Pét-Nat.
