Rich Ortiz is available for public and private performances. With more than a thousand music events as a band front man and solo performer, guitarist and vocalist, Rich has both the talent and experience to present memorable entertainment for your guests. Possessing a 3 octave vocal range and skillful guitar ability, there are some songs others would dare not attempt.
As a solo entertainer, his repertoire features well-known selections from the likes of James Taylor, Dan Fogelberg, Jim Croce, Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, John Denver, Jackson Browne, Paul McCartney, Dave Mason, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Meat Loaf, and Neil Young. He also covers music from bands such as the Beatles, Eagles, Poco, Fleetwood Mac, Loggins and Messina, The Band, Bread, Orleans, Peter Frampton, John Hiatt, Van Morrison, and Creedance Clearwater Revival.
Rich has recorded 3 CDs as lead vocalist with the band Go With Me, and opened for Derek Trucks and for Al Stewart. He has performed at Brook Hollow Winery, Columbia; Tony’s Bistro, Califon; Jersey Girl Brewing, Mt.
