Gerry is a singer-songwriter, recording artist, and educational technologist who has performed all over Europe and the Americas. Gerry plays regularly at the Mountain House Tavern in Branchville, NJ; Krogh's in Sparta, NJ; and The Dimmick Inn in Milford, PA. As a multi-instrumentalist, Gerry has recorded over 50 albums and has performed with musicians such as Natalie Merchant, Sting, The Ramones, Dina Regine, St. Pats for All Stars, Dope Sagittarius, and Los Mas Valientes.
He is the founder and head coach of Union City High School’s Award Winning Varsity Esports program. He was selected two years in a row by the Society for Science to the Research Teacher’s Conference sponsored by Regeneron and held in Washington, D.C.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration, plus 30 graduate-level credits in educational technology and a B.A. in Special Education. Gerry also holds 4 New Jersey teaching licenses. As a doctoral candidate, Gerry has postponed further study to focus on merging his passions for music and ed. tech. Gerry loves art that educates and inspires production in the minds of his students.
He is also a founding member of local NYC bands: Voice of the Turtle, Electro Fetus, Brother Earth, and Sabbados. Their music will now be available on Gerry’s new music brand: Latin Punk Records, in 2023. Gerry is the primary songwriter and performer on: Brother Earth’s "The Mixed Signals" and "Lost & Found;" on Sabbados' “K-Lo-Watt,” and “On Holiday” by Gerry Arias.
