Hunterdon 579 Trail Day at the Market at Ironbound Farm

  • The Market at Ironbound Farm 360 County Road 579 08802 United States (map)

Join us for a Celebration of Agriculture and Community at the Hunterdon 579 Trail Day at Ironbound Farm

An initiative of Explore Hunterdon NJ, the Hunterdon 579 Trail was created as an agrotourism trail for locals and visitors alike to taste the wonders of the county’s plentiful farms, wineries, farm markets and restaurants.

All weekend long, the Ironbound Ciderhouse will be featuring a menu composed primarily of 579 Trail member product, welcoming guests to “Taste the Trail”. Reservations are highly recommended.

On Saturday, July 22 from 10 AM - 3 PM, Ironbound Farm is hosting the 579 Trail Day at the Market at Ironbound Farm, a family-friendly day of ticketed workshops, activities, live music, and a chance for visitors to meet and greet with Trail Members to learn more about the 579 Trail initiative and sample goods from the various businesses. Along with our own offering of hard cider, eggs, farm-raised meats and regenerative produce, the Ironbound Farm Market will be stocked with local trail member goods for purchase including cheese from Gorgeous Goat, Bobolink Dairy and Bakehouse, and Fulper Family Farmstead, beef from Cotton Cattle Company and River Bend Farm, whole and chocolate milk from Spring Run Dairy, Alpaca goods from Woodsedge Farm, fresh lavender from Mad Lavender Farm, seasonal fruit from Phillips Farms, and ice cream from Sandy’s Scoops. Visitors will also have a chance to build-your-own flower bouquets with Farmhouse Flowers, and be sure to say hello to Moe, Gorgeous Goat Creamery’s 15-month-old-goat who will be joining us for the day. The 579 Trail Day is open to the public and free to attend.
