Rob Lanter, a native New Yorker, studied at the Berklee College of Music, majoring in Composition and guitar. He has scored several independent films and has produced numerous recordings. In the 1980s, his jazz fusion group Orpheus recorded for Polydor Records and toured extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada playing clubs, concerts, and jazz festivals.

Rob is versed in many styles, such as rock, jazz, blues, funk, Latin, and classical music. He has performed at the Vermont, Montreal, and Edmonton Jazz Festivals and regularly plays in and around New York City, PA, and New Jersey.

His state-of-the-art studio provides tracking, mixing, mastering, arranging, and composing services. Besides making CDs and albums, the studio has also produced music for corporate videos. Rob Lanter Productions also does on-site recording and tracking.
