AJ Croix is a soulful, singer-songwriter who expertly blends his written words with his melodic, written music and then executes the finest sound, with the help of his "Right Hand" Band, skilled musicians in their own right. His sound is unique, created and blended from such influences as Haggard, Jennings, Nelson, Clark, and many more. Growing up in the other (South) Jersey, traveling, meeting and playing with or opening for some of the Greats, AJ’s music is filled with his experiences and his stories. AJ connects with his audience and his audience can tell that he is as much a part of his music as it is of him. When in Austin a few years ago, AJ was dubbed an "honorary" Texan at Poodie's Hilltop Roadhouse and truly it is hard to conceptualize how he is not from there. His heart and soul must have a Texas label on them somewhere.
